Bill Flake grew up in the Yakima Valley in Washington, and graduated from Central Washington University in English and Philosophy.

Bill enjoys creating functional ceramic pieces that will be used on a daily basis, and his pieces have tactile qualities as well as pleasing visual characteristics that enrich their functional purposes.
